• Breaking Up Thanksgiving is our annual dance weekend held Friday through Sunday after Thanksgiving Day. Powered by volunteers, Friday and Saturday nights are Open Band, Open Caller. Come jam with the best Old Time Musicians around!
• The Fox Valley Folklore Society sponsor barn dances in the western suburbs, 2nd Sunday 2-5p Sept->April at Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn.
• The Valparaiso Old-Time Dance Community runs a contra and square dance in Northwest Indiana once a month on Saturdays.
• The Delafield Contra Dance holds monthly contra dances at the Prairie Hill Waldorf School near Delafield, Wisconsin.
• The University of Chicago holds occasional contra dances, generally in Ida Noyes Hall, either the third floor Theater or first floor Cloister Club.
• The Milwaukee contra dance is held on 2nd and 4th Fridays at the Friends Meeting House.
