Throughout the pandemic, the CBDC Board has been seeking advice from medical experts in our own dance community on how to hold safe events. When we re-opened, we required the precautions of masking, vaccination, hold-harmless waivers and contact tracing info. These are no longer necessities. However, we are aware that there are people who still appreciate some of these precautions.

In order to provide all our participants with a space that works for them, we are still collecting attendance information, namely:

1. First timers are asked to provide their names, phone and email for health notifications, and
2. All other participants are checked off the attendance list as they arrive at the front desk.

We ask that you do not attend our events if you’re feeling sick or have had known COVID or other respiratory virus exposure within the past 7 days. And if you contract such an illness after attendance at an event, please email Treasurer@ChicagoBarnDance.com. In turn, we will attempt to notify all attendees of their potential exposure, as well as the band members, caller, and our Board members.
